In 1904 two handsome guys were sitting around a campfire enjoying a cold one when we thought "We sleep on the dirt, why not work with it?!" and as legend has it, Upstate Ground Works was created. Just kidding!  We are a 5 star Owner- Operators excavation - grading company located outside of Greenville, S.C. in the mountain town of Travelers Rest, S.C. Our company consists of two partners, Nathaniel Gutchess and Michael Edwards. Jennifer Gutchess handles all the office duties. By staying small and simple we can better serve our customers needs and maintain affordable services. Our goal is to fully execute the work requested from our customers in an efficient, affordable, and professional manor. We maintain excellent equipment and love to work.
